Design and Service Company uses longspan shelving with lockable doors to secure work.
Our client needed a solution to allow on going work be carried out in a large warehouse facility, that offered confidentiality and security to individual groups at the same time a sharing the workspace.
The solution provided was a run of individual work bays that could be padlocked when not in use.
Each bay is 2500 high x 1800 long x 800mm deep. Fitted with 3 beam levels fitted with metal shelf panels. All sides are fitted with 50 x 50mm security mesh and fronts fitted with a mesh double door that is padlockable.
Mesh was preferred over a solid doors as is allows see at glance work in progress and stock check
The racking was bolted to the floor so it could not be moved. Bulky items, trolleys to be stored at the bottom, 1st shelf at bench height and upper shelves to store general supplies, tools also any work in progress.
Additional accessories such as mesh tops, shelf dividers, louvred panels for hooks and bins and backs are available as well as options of shelves. Shelf options are metal panels, plain chipboard, melamine faced chipboard (MFC) and mesh shelves.
